We use Walrus Oil to finish our products. It's a plant-based and food-safe oil. We never use paints, stains or dyes.

The best thing you can do is keep it dry and out of the humidity. If desired, you can re-finish it by applying an all-natural plant-based oil (we like the brands Walrus Oil or Odie's Oil) to the surface with a paper towel or cloth.

Due to the extra time commitment to carve images, we reserve image engravings for wholesale partners only, who are required to order a minimum quantity of 25 items. Check our wholesale tab for more information.

Please allow 1-2 weeks for production and 5-7 days for shipping. If you need your item by a specific date, please leave us a message at checkout and we will try our best to expedite if needed!

We try our absolute hardest to rub all the oil off each box before packaging, but sometimes the boxes still leak oil even days afterwards due to the porous nature of wood. If your item is still damp upon arrival, don't worry. Gently wipe it with a paper towel to help it finish drying.

Ah, it probably doesn't but that's the beauty of handcrafted items, right? Differences in grain pattern are to be expected, such as variation in tone, natural knots and markings, but if you think you item has a defect, please fill out the contact form and we will happily assist you!

We will happily replace any items in which we made an engraving mistake OR any new item with proof of defect upon arrival. Please fill out our contact form with a detailed description of your issue and we will get back to you with a solution ASAP.
